I love drawing.

Starting as a fashion illustrator in Washington, DC., followed by life in New York as a fashion & cosmetics Art Director, I have been an artist for over 40 years, 

I moved to San Francisco and quickly became a mom. I took that early childhood time to work in my studio painting, creating installation art and teaching through grants with elementary children and at Creativity Explored with developmentally disabled adults. 

Once the above-referenced child attained school age, I worked as a branding designer for many years until 2023 when my principal client left my roster. I decided take a year-long Artist Sebatical in Mexico, rediscover drawing from nature, find creative inspiration and take stock. 

Mexico did not disappoint and today, I am very influenced by vibrant color and the beauty of flowers. Designing business branding is no longer my focus, although it is something I do enjoy (so if you have a project, let's talk!)

While in Mexico, I did an instagram challenge from Victoria Johnson, of daily 20-minute watercolors. I found the spontaneity of these painting sessions suited my energetic style.

My art is designed to bring beauty to everyday, to share the wonder of nature in how we live.

I'd  welcome collaborations in home goods, wall art, stationary and wrapping paper, and greeting cards, and fabric companies.
